How to lose weight with Zumba

Zumba fitness, as we all know is a great way of losing weight. Not only but it is also rigorous exercise, it is fun and doesn’t feel like a workout. But like every other weight loss goal, you will need to follow a strict routine to actually see visible results.
Make a routine & stick to it
First and foremost you’ll have to understand that you cannot lose weight and maintain that weight by randomly starting to exercise and doing whatever you want to. You will need to make major lifestyle changes if you really wanna lose weight. Here, you’ll have to experiment a little to see what works for in and what doesn’t and once you find that balance, you stick to it.
Watch your diet
They say “ you are what you eat”. I believe it’s true. Half your battle would be won if you eat right. I have known people who have maintained a healthy weight simply by eating right and staying active throughout the day. Here also you’ll have to get your own diet plans to suit you and work for you. But there are certain basics that everyone follows- balanced diet, no junk, no sugar, no skipping meal, and eating at right times.
Measure your progress
Always keep track of your progress to know what’s working and what isn’t. Ideally, you should be losing 1 kg a week. So check your weight once a week at the exact same time to get an accurate reading. Change your plans if you things are not going your way or stick to them if they are.
So Zumba is obviously you exercise. Initially, I would suggest you take up Zumba at least 5 to 6 times a week. For this, you need to set a goal weight. For instance, you change your routine once you have lost say 5 kgs, then you switch to three days a week and so forth. You’ll have to convey your reasons to join the class to the instructor and they’ll guide you through what you have to do or what not.
Tip: Listen to only those people who have actually lost weight through dieting and Zumba.
